Your new Protean Software platform will be configured and implemented to your exact requirements.
Your implementation team will convene a meeting/conference call with all stakeholders to agree the brief for the entire project.
The fine detail of your implementation is scoped out, including data and reporting. Then a Statement of Work (SOW) is created and signed off.
The Protean database is prepared. Remote installation of your software is scheduled and carried out.
Training sessions are carried out according to your needs. They cover maintenance, stock, hire, jobs, accounts integration, engineer mobile devices and CRM.
In addition, you’ll be supported and guided through ‘User Acceptance Testing’ (UAT). This important testing phase gives your users the opportunity to test your software to make sure it can handle required tasks in real-world scenarios, according to your specifications.
Your data is converted and loaded on to your new Protean Software platform. Then a pre-go live review is undertaken to ensure everything is in place.
Once your new Protean Software platform has been signed off, your implementation team will introduce you to your Protean Support team who will ensure you will hit the ground running. They will also make sure you reap the rewards of the many benefits of the system.
Vicki has 10+ years’ experience of implementation projects, having worked as an Implementation Consultant and as our Professional Services Manager. She has a wealth of experience delivering software projects and training in both the public and private sectors. She has supported customers in a variety of industries on projects ranging from 2–100 users. To date, Vicki has implemented 48 Protean projects.
James joined Protean Software’s team in 2008 as an Implementation Consultant. He previously worked for Pegasus Software for a number of years, training customers to use accounts, payroll and construction industry software, before working as a contractor for three years implementing and training on Pegasus Software products. James has successfully implemented Protean Software at over 40 sites for customers across many industry sectors. He has also assisted existing customers with process reviews and change management. In particular he helps with accounts setup and configuration.
Matt has worked as a Protean Software Consultant for three years, having spent the previous two years in the support department. He hails from an accounts and credit management background and has a wealth of experience in dealing with a wide variety of businesses. Matt has delivered Protean implementation projects for customers across a wide range of industries. He also carries out consultancy and training with many existing Protean customers.
David has worked in software implementation for over 25 years, gaining knowledge and experience in a variety of industries, such as automotive and healthcare. Since joining Protean Software in 2015, David has supported a wide range of customers from installation through to go live, in industries including lifts, HVAC, property management and healthcare.
Having started his consultancy career installing computer software in the automotive trade in 2008, Simon joined Protean in January 2014 as a Software Consultant. He has subsequently managed 22 Protean customer implementations and has now progressed to Technical Consultancy. Here he carries out all aspects of installing our software for new customers and server migrations alongside any special project work.
Ben started working for Protean in March 2018. Ben came to us with over 7 years’ experience of implementing Contact Management and Management Information software solutions for a range of customers, including those in the Sign & Print, Exhibition and HVAC industries. Ben has already worked with a few new Protean customers on their implementations, as well as assisting a handful of existing protean users with specific training requests.
